MLSCN organizes four-day Workshop on Equipment Calibration and Standardisation

The Acting Registrar/CEO of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), Dr. Donald I. Ofili, has reiterated the Council’s commitment to bridging critical gaps in equipment handling and quality assurance.

Declaring open a four-day Workshop on Equipment Calibration and Standardisation, Dr. Ofili noted that the training features 60% practical sessions and aligns with ISO 15189:2022 and ISO 15190:2020 standards. He urged participants to apply the skills gained to enhance laboratory accuracy and reliability.

Facilitators include Dr. Manasseh Igbadunah, Engr. Yinka Adetunji, and Mr. Sunday Ogunjimi. The initiative reflects MLSCN’s dedication to continuous professional development and global best practices.

Requirements for COVID-19 IVD Validation

You are to submit 300 worth of test kits for the validation exercise and pay requisite validation fees, via the Remita platform on our website: www.mlscn.gov.ng.
To make payment, select ‘Public Medical Laboratory’ and describe payment as ‘Payment for Covid 19 Validation’.
For company registration, please fill the attached form for each company and attach all necessary documents with the relevant payment.
