MLSCN inaugurates Ethical Research and Publication Committee

The Registrar/CEO of MLSCN, Prof Tosan Erhabor today in Lagos, inaugurated the MLSCN Ethical Research and Publication Committee. The role of the Committee, headed by Prof K.S. Oyedeji of the University of Lagos, is to provide ethical guidance and approval of the IVD Laboratory activities requiring ethical compliance among other roles. Prior to the inauguration of the Committee, the IVD Lab had to rely on external groups for ethical approvals leading to increase in turnaround time (TAT).The Registrar, while assuring members of the Committee that they came highly recommended because of their pedigree, urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the assignment. He reiterated the support of MLSCN Management for the Committee, and expressed the hope that their sacrifices would help the country to rise again.
